How to calculate sea shipping fee?
Sea shipping fee is calculated based on full throw method- actual weight/ volumetric weight (depends on the bigger value), the difference is sea freight small packafe is calculated based on kg as unit, whereas private sea shipping and special sensitive channels are calculated based on m3 as unit.
Sea Freight Small Package
E.g.: Parcel long 20 cm/ wide 30 cm/ height 50 cm
Actual weight (kg)
=10 kg
Volumetric weight（ kg ）
=（longx widex height）cm÷6,000
=（20x 30x 50）÷6,000
= 5 kg
Note: Actual weight is bigger than the volumetric weight, hence the actual weight will be used for calculation=10 kg
BBB Sea Shipping Fee= [First kg （RM23）+ consecutive 9kg（RM3 x 9）]
= RM50
Private Sea Freight
E.g: Parcel- Long 20cm/ Wide 30cm/ Height 50cm/ Actual Weight= 55kg
Actual Volumetric Cubic ( m3 )
= [longx widex height]/ 1,000,000
= [20 x 30 x 50]/ 1,000,000
= 0.03 m3
Actual Weight Cubic ( m3 )
=Weight（kg）÷500
=55÷500
=0.11 m3
Note: The actual weight cubic is bigger than the actual volumetric cubic, hence the actual weight cubic will be calculated= 0.11m 3 ≈0.2 m3 （calculate based on every 0.1 m3 ）
Sea freight shipping sea= Every 0.1 m3（RM70）+ consecutive 0.1 m3（RM45）
= RM115
Special Sensitive Sea Freight
E.g.: A claw machine long 80cm/ wide 75cm/ height 173cm/ weight 106 kg
Actual volumetric cubic= [longx widex height]/ 1,000,000
= [80 x 75x 173]/ 1,000,000
= 1.038m³
Actual weight cubic (m3)
=Weight（kg）÷500
=106÷500
= 0.212 m3
Note: The actual volumetric cubic is bigger than the actual weight cubic, the actual volumetric cubic will be calculated= 1.038m 3 ≈1.1 m3 （calculate based on every 0.1m3）
0.1m³= RM64
1m³= RM640
Sea shipping fee= 1.1m³= RM640 + RM64
= RM704
